About us

Empowering individuals through the healing power of the outdoors.

Our mission

Disabled Outdoorsmen Minnesota is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through the transformative power of the outdoors, providing unforgettable hunting and fishing adventures that foster healing and connection with nature.

With over 40 years of collective experience, our passionate team of volunteers works tirelessly to create inclusive and accessible outdoor experiences. We collaborate with the DNR, US Fish & Wildlife, and landowners to ensure that everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, can enjoy the beauty and excitement of the outdoors.

We call it “the outdoor prescription”: time in Minnesota’s fields, woods, and lakes that heals and connects.
